Day 304 - At the Park

 
13 January 2011 - We went for a walk in the are of our suburb that flooded- this is one of the first places that started getting water, and of the last to lose it. It is a park with a creek that runs down to the river. The road just down from here flooded a bit and most of the businesses had sandbags out.

12 January 2010- A picture of the rising Brisbane River. I wasn't going to try to get really close, so this is a distance shot of an area that usually has a walking track. See all of the little wooden structures, they aren't meant to be half covered by the water...

Day 302 - More water

 
11 January 2011- A puddleforming by the side of the house with dirt accumulating in the rush of water down the slope.

10 January 2011- A drainage channel at the soccer field. I have never seen it this full, we have had a lot of rain

9 January 2011- This was a tough selection,there were a couple of good shots of the scultures next to this slab. All taken while a very angry lady screamed at the world just behind me.

2 January 2011- This garden centre was having a sale on fake rusty garden sculptures (they are fibreglass). Somebody with an interesting sense of humor arranged the sale section.

Day 290 - I meant to do that!

 
30 December 2010- SItting under the Bodhi tree outside GOMA, she was having fun walking through the tree nd took a minor tumblee. No tears, just very feline attitude - clearly what she intended to do all along.

Day 289- Gifts

 
29 December 2010- a few late presents were unwrapped- these preloved plastic animals were a hit, more so than the book or the blow up croc.

Day 288 - You're nuts (and bolts)

 
28 December 2010- Officeworks had the compartment containers on special, so the random little metal jar is being sorted.

Day 287- Water everywhere

 
27 December 2010- The water at the bottom of the front steps- runoff coming down from the backyard + rain

Day 286- Don't mind us, we are just enjoying the view
