15 February 2011- The car park near work finally reopened, after being rather badly flooded in the January floods (all 6 floors full to the roof). All of the electronics- elevators, pay machines, swipe card readers- had to be taken out and they are still working on replacing them. When I was picking up my temporary pass (I am a monthly parker) I noticed this sign. I think that it understates the issue a little.
This is a Project 365 blog- a picture every day for a year. I picked up this idea from Allison, as I find it an interesting and challenging project. I have chosen to start from my birthday and document each day of my 33rd year. There is a photo for each day- mostly with me as the photographer (there will be exceptions. Some days it is hard to choose, others not so hard.

Day 304 - At the Park
13 January 2011 - We went for a walk in the are of our suburb that flooded- this is one of the first places that started getting water, and of the last to lose it. It is a park with a creek that runs down to the river. The road just down from here flooded a bit and most of the businesses had sandbags out.
