Day 315 - Nerf

 
24 January 2011- This is one of the "bullets" from a Nerf gun. They are apparently the toy to give at the moment. I obtained three when I did some pre-Christmas volunteering at the Salvos. They have decided not to pass these (or any other toy gun that isn't a water gun) as they promote violence. So volunteers are free to take them in exchange for a donation. The little ones I have are not too bad, but you can get automatic ones, and belt-fed bullets- insane. Anyway, Greg is highly entertained with this on accasion, and so we have Nerf bullets around the house. One lives on my desk at work, and serves as a frustration outlet and form of entertainment.

Day 289- Gifts

 
29 December 2010- a few late presents were unwrapped- these preloved plastic animals were a hit, more so than the book or the blow up croc.

Day 283 - So Many Toys

 
23 December 2010- I spent an afternoon helping sort donated toys. Everytime we cleared the table, more came in.
